POP-UP & TEMPORARY STRUCTURES
Colour Fields: Pop-Up Bar
This summer see Sydney Harbour in a different light, with a cool drink in hand at the MCA’s pop-up bar Colour Fields. Inspired by the Sydney International Art Series exhibition, Pipilotti Rist: Sip my Ocean (1 November – 18 February), the MCA has collaborated with Scoundrel Projects, Yippee Ki-Yay and Event Engineering to give Circular Quay a pop of colour during the warmer months.

The Temporium
The Mercedes-Benz Temporium dome took over 700 hours to build using 1.5 tonnes of steel, 25,000 staples and 100 sheets of plywood. The dome was created for the Sydney and Melbourne Night Noodle Markets. We provided inspections and certification of the steel structures, timber structures, and looked at wind actions.
