Michael Sheehy is an experienced and practical project manager with a solid background in construction, rigging, site safety, and technical design. Since joining Event Engineering in 2017, he’s been a key part of delivering a wide range of construction projects, structural installs, and maintenance programs around Australia.
He combines hands-on site experience with strong technical and organisational skills. Michael’s strengths include project planning and coordination, managing contractors and stakeholders, overseeing site logistics, and producing 3D models and construction documentation that help turn ideas into reality.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a range of industry certifications, including high-risk work licences (rigging, scaffolding, forklift, EWP), traffic control, and advanced first aid. He’s also proficient in Rhino 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office, allowing him to manage projects from design through to delivery with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Michael is calm under pressure, a team player, and known for his practical problem-solving approach and commitment to getting the job done well.
